The Chaunce Hayden Show

Chaunces Back

For over 15 years, international celebrity journalist Chauncè Hayden has built a reputation for telling it like it is and showing a side of celebrities seldom ever seen.

Besides editing the weekly entertainment magazine, Steppin' Out, Chauncè has also written gossip for the New York Daily News and has been featured in magazines and newspapers around the world. Chauncè's work has appeared in magazines such as Time, New York, Time Out NY, Celebrity Style, Elle, Rolling Stone, Cosmopolitan, Playboy and Penthouse.

On television Chauncè has appeared on E! Entertainment, The Anna Nicole Show, Geraldo, Extra, Inside Edition, Hard Copy, Howard Stern, ABC World News Now, and The FOX News Channel as well as on dozens of talk radio programs around the country such as Bob Grant & Rush Limbaugh.

In 1999 Chauncè stepped outside of print journalism to host his own radio show The Chauncè Hayden Show on eyada.com's Internet radio network. The outrageous, funny and very controversial show was a tremendous success world wide and attracted millions of daily listeners.

Born and raised on the tough city streets of Manhattan's Inwood section, Chauncè (currently residing in Northern NJ) has seen and done a lot in his lifetime.

The charismatic journalist has drawn from his true life adventures, which have included a four year stint in the Navy (Fighter Squadron VF-32), followed by a varied list of occupations, some of which were bartender, ditch digger, male stripper, musician, photographer, artist, football coach and school teacher. Yet, along the way, with hard work and persistence, found time to earn a B.A. in Journalism from William Paterson University.

Chauncè has had little trouble making a name for himself, conducting over 1,500 one-on-one interviews with some of the world's biggest names, including Cindy Crawford, Howard Stern, Tyra Banks, Conan O'Brien, Gene Simmons, Lucy Lawless, Jenny McCarthy, Pamela Anderson, Tommy Lee, Larry King, Heidi Fleiss, Donald Trump, Jay Leno, Rev. Al Sharpton, Kathie Lee Gifford, Victoria Gotti, Mayor Giuliani, Brooke Shields, George Burns, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Jennifer Lopez, Jon Voight, David Spade, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Bijou Phillips, Naughty By Nature, Derek Jeter, Dennis Franz, Dennis Rodman, Jenna Jamison, James Earl Jones and Britney Spears.

With, charm and a charismatic personality have allowed those around Chauncè to feel like they're with an old friend, thus making his interviews unlike any other. Always compelling, Chauncè's readers are treated to a weekly celebrity feature - sometimes funny, sometimes heartwarming, and sometimes controversial - but always consuming. "I don't believe in fluff interviews," says Chauncè, "If the reader doesn't walk away feeling moved or, at the very least entertained, then my time as well as the celebrity's has been wasted, not to mention the reader's."

Once asked how he has been able to obtain so many in-depth interviews, Chauncè replied "I guess it's just the luck of the Irish."
